Stunt woman Annabel Canaven with dog Dennis

Annabel Canaven is a stunt actress at the top of her game. She's worked on a number of big recent productions including James Bond Skyfall, John Carter and Sherlock Game of Shadows. I photographed her at home in rural Devon for Fabulous magazine. 

The images needed to look glossy and stylish whilst also subtly hinting at Annabel's profession. We had a fun afternoon of trying out ideas with varying degrees of action required. Annabel happily switched between climbing trees and riding a horse bareback in a dress and heels.

The two shots above are my favourite from the set. I'm always happy to include cute (and ideally well behaved) dogs. Exemplary dog portrait sitting behaviour on show above. The Roman emperor-esque sculpture on the right made for a nice little detail which helped bring a little Hollywood to North Devon.
