How to paint Still Life

I was commissioned in November to photograph Hero Johnson (great name) and Ian Rowlands at the Heatherleys School of Fine Art in Chelsea for Artist and Illustrators January edition.

Hero and Ian were great to work with and we spent a fun few hours trying out different set-ups and back drops. The photograph used on the cover of the mag was taken a couple of hours into the shoot by which time my comedy routine would have been in full swing. A sympathy smile is just as good as a normal smile in my book.
