Up and Running
I spent the weekend with my welsh grandmother in Ammanford, a little village in the foothills of the Black Mountain, which forms the westernmost range of the Brecon Beacons National Park. These hills (confusingly) are incredibly bleak, called the Black Mountain because nothing grows up there. The starkness of the environment always appealed to me, and seeing as I had an athletic girlfriend model with me I thought it was the perfect opportunity to photograph a runner crossing one of the peaks.
