Freddie Flintoff photographed somewhere in a forest in Snowdonia. Freddie was there filming an outdoor camping segment for a new TV show. Working against the light as it dropped and trying to find a flat spot to get a colorama up presented a few challenges. Luckily I bumped into a lovely chap called Andy, an off duty fireman who rigged up a safety access rope and helped me shift my kit down the steep banks of the valley.

My ongoing series of portraits with the magazine Discover Britain. This time featuring signwriter Andrew Grundon. Andrew’s busy studio bursting with antique signs and sculptures is based in a small village on the North West side of Bodmin Moor, Cornwall.
Lock & Co Hatters // Discover Britain
Lock & Co Hatters, No 6 St James Street in London. Established in 1676, which makes it the oldest hat shop in the world and the oldest shop in London still in existence. I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon there photographing both the shop and it's retail manager Michael Hagon.
Milly Chowles // Bristol
My portraits of the broadcaster, DJ and radio producer Milly Chowles. Milly has openly talked about her younger life, which was consumed by a cycle of addiction. It was in rehab that Milly was first introduced to radio production and she has since become a regular reporter for Radio 4’s flagship programme; Woman’s Hour, where she’s found her niche in reporting on subjects she has personal experience of.
Hurst Point Lighthouse //
Whilst shooting at Hurst Castle on the Hampshire coast, I noticed that the nearby Hurst Point Lighthouse was being repainted with a new coat of brilliant white paint. I wandered over and asked one of the painters who was taking his lunch break if I could take a quick portrait of him. Gavin as his name turned out to be kindly obliged.
